urbanforests.tools — support
Urban Forest Designer is a digital tool for community groups to envision, design, plant and maintain urban forests and plantings. We've spent the better part of a year building it to get it running, and we're developing it in the open. Until we find a long-term partner to sustain it, support from people who believe in the work keeps development and hosting going.
Support development
Every contribution goes to the same place: keeping the platform online, improving features, and building what's next. Please consider contributing if you find the tool useful.

Larger or organizational support
We're seeking a long-term backer to sustain and grow Urban Forest Designer. The platform is already in active use by community groups establishing native plantings and it evolves in step with the real-world conditions they work in. It was built by and with people active in the Little Forest community, so it's shaped by the real needs of the organizations.
Let's talkWe're not a registered charity, so contributions aren't tax-deductible and there's no charitable receipt — just our genuine thanks, and a tool that keeps getting better.
On the roadmap
This list grows as the tool develops. Signed-in supporters can point us at what matters most — you get one vote, and you can move it any time.
For your organization
Some things are specific to one group — and that's hands-on work, not a donation. If you'd like help, tell me what you're after and I'll scope it and propose a fee at an hourly rate.
Build your planting list from your own records, reconciled against native-plant authorities.
Bring your past plantings and monitoring rounds into the platform.
Your local maps, boundaries, and reference layers on your project maps.
Fold your own field or sensor data into a project's records.
Tell me the need and the goal — we'll work out the scope together.
